Pharmacology for Nurses module is offered by the Division of Pharmacology (Therapeutics), based at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine for the nursing students pursuing B.Nursing degree (level 2) with the University of KwaZulu-Natal (Howard College Campus). This course introduces students to the main concepts in clinical pharmacology. Although the module is offered by the pharmacists and physicians (with post graduate training in clinical pharmacology), focus is on practical and clinical pharmacology relevant to nurses.
